Bringing you up to date before the Christmas photos.

J and two of his mates performed a 'street dance' at school assembly - looking very cool.

Tae Kwon Do - and assistant - 'little grasshopper'

Showing the Tae Kwon Do moves - J is now a brown belt successfully passing his first grading.

A's Christmas play table. Currently filled with diggers and rice bubbles in the playroom.

Bringing you up to date

Here's what we have been up to lately

This is 'A' playing at the school fair.

'J' spent most of the time 'hanging-out'with his mates at the school fair, except when he wanted food.

Nan sent a cooking apron and a shopping bag.

While "A" didn't make these he certainly helped his brother eat them. We made these because a current favourite book is about Maisy Mouse making gingerbread for her friends.

We love being Bob The Builder and doing hammering and drilling around the house.

Fresh and clean from the bath but definately in need of a haircut.

'J' and two of his friends are doing a rap dance at school assembly so there is a fair bit of dancing going on.

This is our ornamental cherry tree. Not as covered in blooms as many of the trees in the area, but pretty all the same.

Taste Testing

'A' quite likes helping with the cooking, but it's the cleaning up he prefers.

I wonder if licking the beaters is a genetic trait.

This is the park in Launceston.

Lots of jumping, a visit to the monkeys and then back home.

Keeping Up To Date

An update to the goings on in our life.
Up close and personal with the end steers on a Bullock Dray demo at the Oatlands Fair

A modern way of rounding up the cattle - or playing in the street.

In the park in Launceston. More of these photos to come.

Just messing.

This is what happens when you look away for just a moment. Fortunately it washed off.

My Macarons

I have been trying for some time to create a macaron. As none are available in Hobart or in Perth, I have never tried one. These worked out well and without seeing another I'm not sure how well they compare.

These are cinnamon macarons with a pumpkin nutmeg cream. Weird combination but they work really well.

Our Holiday in Perth

This is Bob the Builder having fun at Scitech

J had great fun running and diving over this pipe. Why? I have no idea!

A found a guitar while we were visiting friends.

The boys with G's parents after a visit to the zoo. One of the only perfect days during our visit.

Oh so cute - most of the time.

Time to go home, with Nana V.

Playing armies with new tracksuit pants in army print.
At Fremantle, before fish and chips for tea at Cicerello's.

Our Magnolia Tree

The magnolia tree is just coming in to flower. I will be in WA for the next ten days and didn't know if I'd miss the rest of the flowers. Just so you can see how beautiful it will be.

Father's Day

Father's Day was celebrated at a lovely bakery in Battery Point.

Someone loves his hot chocolate.

We went for a walk down to a park still in Battery Point, but near Salamanca Place. All the magnolia trees are in flower.

We have given up on the idea of living without a dishwasher. J is not happy that he now has his regular morning job back.

Sometimes chocolate muffins just don't cook fast enough. A lending his support.

Just Messing

This is our little handy man. I wonder where the renovating gene has come from. A is into Bob the Builder in a big way. Here he is building the window.

We are getting a lot of mileage out of these goggles. They are useful for all sorts of games.

The house could do with a coat of paint but a jug of water is more fun.

This is our first day at Playgroup. No action photos, I wasn't fast enough.

After Father's Day Breakfast we went for a walk. This park is called 'The Biggest Slide in the World Park'
